Interview of PA1 Kyle Niemi, USCG, containing detailed descriptions of his activities relating to Hurricane Katrina rescue operations including: evacuation to Alexandria, La., with the Sector Incident Management Team; working with six to eight Public Affairs specialists; responding to inquiries, coordinating media ride-alongs, and managing imagery and video requests; Niemi went on one of the first damage assessment over flights; and documenting on video and still photography a search and rescue flight where the helicopter crew rescued eight people.
